Writer-In-Residence
Sligo’s Libraries two writers-in-residence to date have been authors Niall Williams and Brian Leyden.
The focus of these residencies was to conduct a series of writing workshops and literary appreciation courses with writers, oversee the publication of the electronic journal The Cathach and work with young adults through a Writing Competition.
Sligo Libraries second Writer-In-Residence term has finished. A new term will be begin shortly.
